With the BlueJeans team we built a next-generation video conferencing client for Windows in React Native. When we started, React Native Windows only supported UWP (Windows 8 and newer), but BlueJeans needed to support Windows 7, so we backported all of React Native Windows to support it. After six months we had a working prototype and within 1.5 years we had shipped the first version.
